[ Sometime after Anthy's demise, Knightley invites Yomiel over for a game of chess. Of course, "playing chess" has become his go-to euphemism for discussing strategy. He doesn't even bother setting up the board this time. ]
That was a rather convincing show, Mr. Yomiel.

If you're a Citizen trying to catch a Communist, it'd make more sense to make a case for why somebody should be considered a suspect early on and not when somebody just made a convincing argument that narrowed it down to two people, one of whom was later proven to be a Communist.

Date: 2014-11-14 05:40 am (UTC)I agree with that, too. The good Detective hasn't been making himself look so good. The argument against him is strong enough that I think it could fly at a trial if I don't get a hit on Logan tomorrow morning.
[ Or, y'know. If he's dead. ]

Date: 2014-11-15 02:18 am (UTC)Fullbright's our strongest suspect. We should gun for him at the trial tomorrow no matter what my results are. If they're positive and I'm still alive to share them, I can post them with the messaging system that night, and we'll have someone for the day after. If I come up with a blank, that still gives me time to try someone else.

Date: 2014-11-16 12:30 am (UTC)I've no objections. Fulbright's going down tomorrow, and if that guy isn't a Commie I'll eat my hat.
